As the Dec Rebels sat out in Week 6, there were wins for the Legends, St Ronald, GPoR, Knightriders, Aberdeen University, ATSSC and Grammar 98. Coming at the end of Aberdeen’s heat wave, it started a bit chilly and overcast, but soon cleared to an evening of bright sunshine.

ATSSC beat Ellon by 5 wickets at the Shed in a high scoring match that produced more than 330 runs on the night, a result that keeps ATSSC at the top of the table by way of a better margin. Batting first, Ellon posted a total of 165-7. In reply, ATSSC made 167-5.

As discussed at the AGM, the BP 'Big Screen' in Duthie Park on Tuesday 30th June will force some of our matches to be rescheduled. The following changes have been made to those fixtures previously earmarked for Duthie Park:

Dutchmill v MCC, now Shed 2 on Tuesday 30th June.

Knightriders v GPoR, now Shed 1 on Monday 29th June.

As the Oxy Cup enters the quarter finals on Tuesday June 16th, seven teams will find themselves without an official fixture on that date. There is the opportunity to arrange a friendly, possibly against the opposition from a previously rained off match (a reminder that this will only be classed as a friendly and will not be included in the league table).

GPoR v MCC has already been penciled in at the Links. There are two pitches still available at Sheddocksley should any others teams wish to take up this offer (first come, first served). Pitch requirements to be confirmed via the Secretary.
