The BP screening at Duthie Park meant that two fixtures needed to be rescheduled to the Monday. St Ronald and the Dare Devils met at the Links, with the Knightriders and the Gentleman Players of Rubislaw locking horns at the Shed.
The Knightriders batted first and posted an impressive total of 160-6, with Suman (30no), Chaitanya Ravi (30no), Prasanth (23) and Mohan. V (20) doing the damage with the bat. In reply, the GPoR could not match the required run rate of 8 an over and made 86-8 at the close, with M.Budd top scoring on 29. The Knightriders bowled well, with key contributions from Raja (2 for 11 off 4), Venu (2 for 15 off 4), Selva (1 for 5 off 4) and Sella (2 for 27 off 4).

The Legend's unbeaten run in the AECL is finally at an end after suffering defeat to last year’s champions Inn at the Park at Allan Park Stadium. The Legends remain at the top of the table by 2 points however both the Dec Rebels and ATSSC have a game in hand. With ATSSC sitting out this week, it was the DeC Rebels keeping the pressure on the Legends with a comprehensive victory over Grammar 98 at the Shed. With the Legends not having a league match next week and only concentrating on their Oxy Cup semi-final on Monday, a win for the Rebels in a difficult league match against the Dare Devils on Tuesday will take the Rebels to the top of the table due to their far superior margin. ATSSC remain very much in the mix and are still to face the Legends on 21st July.
