Unfortunately we have another casualty in the AECL this year. Aberdeen University CC have advised they are to pull out of the AECL due to a lack of players. The university side only managed to play one match this season against St Ronald (this result and the various walkovers will now be void; the table has been updated). The remaining players with Aberdeen University will team up with Grammar 98 for the remainder of the season (players are not restricted to one team should that team withdraw during the season). All Grammar 98 matches will be transferred to Kings College. This will require some further revison to pitches to ensure maximum use is made of Duthie Park (to be advised shortly).
Although there are now sufficient pitches to play all matches on a Tuesday (using both Sheds), the AECL will still retain the Wednesday fixture at Duthie Park involving the Royal Challengers as originally planned.
