RGU Tomahawks were free this week, after the withdrawl of Dutchmill.
There were wins this week for MCC and GPoR over the Kings XI and Chevron respectively. Ellon and Grammar 98 had the opportunity to relocate from Kings College (don't ask) to the Links, however both teams agreed to reschedule again as they were both struggling to field a team. The Wednesday match between the Royal Challengers and BP was postponed due to the rain.
MCC won the toss and elected to bat against the Kings XI at DP2. MCC posted a total of 146 for 6 off 20 overs, with Sadik (30 no), Mac (24) and Shiraz (23) top scoring. In reply, Kings XI fell 20 runs short on 126 AO to give MCC their third win of the season. Pick of the bowlers for MCC were Amtiaz (3 for 11) and Nushad (2 for 20).
The Gentlemen Players of Rubislaw edged a close encounter against Chevron at Duthie Park. Chevron batted first and posted a total of 118 AO. In reply, GPoR reached 123 for 6 in the final over to record a 4 wicket victory.
