There were wins this week for Grammar 98 and RGU Tomahawks. The match between Ellon and the Gentlemen Players of Rubislaw ended in a tie, with both teams scoring 117 runs. League leaders the Royal Challengers meet MCC on Wednesday at DP1 in a match that can see them secure the League 2 title.
RGU Tomahawks batted first at the Links and posted a total of 100 for 7 of 20 overs against Chevron, with Marc Jones and Liam Maxfield both retiring on 30. In reply, Chevron were then bowled out for 87 in 17.3 overs, falling 13 runs short. Notable bowling for the Tomahawks from Kartik Samy (1 for 14), Fraser Lawrance (1 for 17) and Adarsh Nalam (1 for 17).

The Royal Challengers luck with the weather did not improve again this week, with their match against MCC abandoned after only 5 overs. MCC batted first and reached 58-1 from 5 overs, however the heavens soon opened and all headed for shelter. The possibility of playing the match on Monday night will be investigated by both teams.
