League 1: ATSSC and St Ronald end season with a tie

There were two rearranged league fixtures this week in League 1. The Legends welcomed Inn at the Park to Allan Park Stadium and ATSSC met St Ronald on DP1.

The match between ATSSC and St Ronald ended in a tie (120 runs a piece). Little else is known about the match (wickets lost?), hopefully we will receive a little more information in due course :-). This was a second tie in as many weeks for ATSSC, however I doubt ATSSC took the last 4 wickets for 0 runs as was the case last week!!

The match at Allan Park stadium had an 'end of season' feel to it as the Legends comfortably beat Inn at the Park by 6 wickets. The Park batted first and posted a total of 93 AO, with Moiz (29 no) and Guru (20) top scoring.  Pick of the bowlers was D. Anderson (4 for 15). In reply, the Legends made 94 for 4, with key contributions from G. Gillanders (32 no) and N. McHattie (22). Guru was among the wickets (2 for 29) for the Park. For a more detailed report, see:

The League table has now been finalised. The Legends are confirmed runners up to the league winners the DeC Rebels. At the other end of the table, Caledonian finished the season without a win, although could not have come any closer against ATSSC last week!!

Only 3 scratched matches in total throughout the season (good effort), although League 2 take the honours with only the one league match being lost due to a lack of players throughout the whole season.
