The final between the Dare Devils and the Legends came to a premature end at 6.40pm due to rain and has now been rescheduled to Wednesday at DP1 (6 pm start). This is the third occasion the match has been interrupted by the weather.
The Legends won the toss on the night and elected to bat. The Dare Devils made a promising start, with Gokul taking 4 wickets, which included a great catch at mid-wicket, one clean bowled and two LBWs.
However it was becoming more slippy as the rain started to fall, as proved by Phil Gill turning for a quick 2nd run and ending up in a heap of arms and legs. A further over later, it was all over as Kenny arrived with the covers. There was no sign of the rain relenting and the match was abandoned at 6.55pm.
