The much awaited final between the Legends and Dare Devils was finally completed (lost count of the number of reschedules!). Duthie Park was the setting on a gloomy and damp night.

The Dare Devils won the toss and batted first and posted a total of 100 AO, with Gokul providing the key batting contribution of 32 no, ably assisted by Senthil (23). Pick of the bowlers for the Legends was G Hadden (3 for 14). In reply, the Legends made a solid start, with G Hadden (23) and N McHattie (23) scoring valuable runs. However wickets soon started to tumble and it came down to the last over, with 10 runs required. It was the Legends who came out on top in the fading light, with Zed hitting a boundary with a few balls remaining to record a one wicket victory in a tense finish to the match. Pick of the bowlers for the Dare Devils were Sree (2 for 8) and Gokul (2 for 14).

For his all round performance, Gokul of the Dare Devils was awarded the Man of the Match tankard. The Oxy Cup was presented to the Legends' skipper on the night, G Hadden.
